The joke
In The Big Bang Theory season 4, episode 2, "The Cruciferous Vegetable Amplification," Sheldon decides the outside world is too risky and starts attending life by remote: a screen with his face, bolted to a pole, on wheels.
Howard takes one look and nicknames the contraption "R2-D-bag" — a famous little droid crossed with a less flattering term. Roughly: the robot gets a droid name, Sheldon gets the "bag."
This domain exists purely to honor that one perfect insult.
